Gi Tae feels like everything is falling into place for his plan now stating he wont marry anyone else. Little does he know he already has feelings and his mother is onto him. Agree with u/RayInRed that I love the countdown https://legitdatingsites.com/ to the disaster format of this drama, cause you know Jang Mi’s got something going down every time. Enjoyed the parallel visits of sober Jang Mi and drunk Jang Mi showing just how much of a chaotic force she can be.

The naming of the fish was probably my favourite moment, especially her delighted reaction when Gi Tae yells out Nemo later on in the episode. So far, enjoying all of the featured leads in the opening – even douchebag is growing on me – and I am appreciating how much the two main leads seem to “loathe” each other (I love a proper slow-burn). I also didnt realise that; the FL is a better person than me! Well, she killed him with kindness and got her revenge.
Yes, bad fashion, bad writing, bad acting (too much yelling from Rain), but somehow it was so addictive. Another example of this is Accidental Couple (also known as That Fool), in which a movie star hires a regular guy to pose as her husband in order to avoid a scandal with her actual boyfriend. The hero clearly recognizes that it’s a business deal and his “wife” is out of his league, yet he still demands respect when she tries to dismiss him the way she’s used to doing with everyone. It sure is fun watching him be tormented especially when the promised sexual affinity is so close. She tells him it’s over and that she was the only one that could stop him. She proposes to a not-so-happy Gi Tae, “Let’s get married”.
No matter how she feels about her daughter in law it’s really a bit much for one person to put up with. I did like that she was fine with the table being ruined as her husband was a known table flipper. I should have remembered dad was a total sleaze ball.
On top of this, the 14th of every month is a small holiday for couples, with a specific theme for every month. In some instances, especially on the first date, the man might pay for the whole lot of it, while on others, he’ll pay for the first round, the girl the next, and so on. As you get to know each other better and become an official boyfriend and girlfriend, the paying should even itself out.

The first episode is such a great set up, I’m not usually sold on rom-coms this early on. I love how they at first lead the viewer to think that the two leads are on the phone to one another before pulling the twist that it is Gi Tae is actually on the phone with Hoon Dong. I was planning on being all chill and watching like one episode a day, but after finishing the first one I just want to keep going.
Sa-hyeon stays by Song Won’s side and takes her to the hospital. Flashbacks show Won showing Sa-hyeon “the real her,” bringing intimacy between them. I’m pretty sure we’ve seen this scene before with the former actor of Sa-hyeon, so this felt super weird. The three women protagonists in their 30s, 40s, and 50s will encounter unprecedented misfortunes and must find a way out to tackle the various struggles it poses in their lives.
